STORK RETORT COOKER INSTALLATION
PDG provided all architectural, structural, site/civil and mechanical/electrical/plumbing design engineering for a new hydrostatic retort cooker furnished by the Stork Corporation of the Netherlands. Design included a mass concrete foundation and support walls for the 110’ tall structure as well as a pump/ equipment room, infeed/outfeed connector building, electrical control room, chiller building and cooling water pit. The cooker is currently the largest hydrostatic cooker built by the Stork Corporation.
