PDG LEED-ING THE WAY TO ENERGY CONSERVATION
Poggemeyer Design Group is proud to announce the certification of several new LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs). LEED, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating SystemTM, is a certification program and national benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance sustainable buildings. LEED addresses all building types and emphasizes stateof- the-art strategies in the areas of sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection, and indoor environmental quality.
LEED APs must demonstrate a complete understanding of the LEED Rating System and pass the accreditation exam. PDG now has 10-percent of its staff accredited, representing each area of specialization and with others currently in the accreditation process.

Building Council, which provides discounts to our clients for LEED project certification. We have designed several LEED projects and are currently working with the City of Las Vegas, The University of Toledo and the Ottawa-Sandusky-Seneca County Joint Solid Waste Management District to design LEED-certified facilities.
