Automotive Body Panel Stamping Plant

Poggemeyer Design Group, Inc. (PDG) completed design through construction services for a new 84,450 s.f. die stamping facility for production of parts for the auto industry. This project consisted of 75,600 s.f. of industrial area and 8,850 s.f. of office area.

The facility was designed to very tight tolerances. Some areas were required to have a controlled-atmosphere with no vibration.

Lynnwood Corporate Center II
Lynnwood Corporate Center II is a Class A, steel frame structure built around an extensive post-tensioned concrete landscaped pedestrian and parking plaza and a covered parking garage.
The four-story office structure will provide a state-of-the-art fiber-ready backbone for cutting-edge telephony, communication and Internet service providers.

Gibralter Island Shoreline Protection
Provided engineering and architectural services for improvements to OSU's Gibralter Island Complex including shoreline stabilization, seawall installation, restroom renovations and a water treatment system at Stone Lab.

Little Italy Residential Tower
Provided structural engineering services for this 18-story, 200' x 300' residential tower project. Located in the Little Italy area, the tower design makes the most of the sloping site to provide residents with vistas of San Diego's waterfront and downtown area. The tower base was designed to accommodate the neighborhood pedestrian movement characteristic of the Little Italy area. There are two below-grade parking levels as well as on-grade parking. The facility is designed around an interior courtyard and includes a lap pool on the 8th level.

Correctional Facility
Working in conjuction with Hellemuth, Obata, Kassabaum (HOK), Renouveau Design, Inc. (RDI), and Grier-Fipp Architectural (GFA), PDG lead the team for the design and construction of a new 1,000-bed close security prison. The Project also included a 250-bed minimum security site encampment with appurtenant administration and housing support facilities, warehouse and maintenance shop, and site improvements. The project occupies over 418,000 s.f. on approximately 45 acres and is a complete, full-service facility. PDG was also responsible for construction management coordinating the activities of multiple contractors, utilities, state and local agencies. Housing units were adapted as a prototypical facility from an existing institution in North Carolina.
