Substations, Transmission and Distribution
Our staff has provided engineering and design services on substations and transmission circuits of up to 138,000 volts for clients in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. We work closely with the client from the initial feasibility study phase through final commissioning and operation to ensure that the project meets the requirements of the system and to bring the project to a successful completion.
The substation projects employ state-of-the-art protective relaying, metering and control systems, and SCADA systems which are all integrated to provide the protection, control and monitoring needs of the facility. Transmission lines are designed to meet system functionality as well as public safety and aesthetic requirements.
Along with the electrical engineering and design, PDG has in-house expertise in site and rights- of-way acquisition, site development, structural and civil engineering design, and landscape design to provide a complete project. |
